Fathom uses native platform integration (no visible bot, free forever plan with no minute limits). Fireflies uses a bot participant but has better team features, conversation analytics, and a larger integration ecosystem. For solo users, Fathom is usually better. You can configure Fireflies to auto-join all calls on your calendar, or invite it selectively via a unique email address. Most users set it to auto-join and exclude specific meetings via calendar settings.
